The apartment is situated in the centre of Aalbæk, where you will find shops with everyday commodities, restaurants, post office, railway station, and library, all together within a range of 500 m. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the harbour, to one of the best bathing beaches in Denmark, and to the wood with its extended system of wonderful paths ( free folders with maps available at the tourist office ). The apartment makes up the major part of the ground floor in a house of 3 storeys. The other part of the house is occupied by the owners. The house was built in 1900, and until 1996 the ground floor has been used for a workshop and a shop. Originally there were a shoemaker’s workshop and shop in the building, but during the period 1982 – 1996 there was an electrician workshop. 2002 the former workshop was torn down, and a new building was made on the same area. This building together with the old shop are now used for the apartment. The house has a well arranged garden. The garden is divided in many small sections, and there will almost always be a possibility of finding a shelter for the wind or a place in the sun. In the garden a terrace with garden furniture will be at the disposal of our guests. It is also possible to grill or to use the heart of the garden, ” the bonfire place ”. The apartment is fully furnished and has got all sorts of desirable facilities. The apartment of course has its own entrance.
